We want to help youth achieve their spiritual, intellectual and social potential. We have established a number of support programs and activities, including:

Support for Youth Volunteers: We regularly assist organizations such as local cadet programs that are devoted to volunteer work in our local community

Special Olympics: Chapter 7015 is proud of its ongoing support for young Special Olympians. We have organized several fund raising campaigns over recent years to provide funding for this very worthwile cause.
The Knights of Columbus may award up to 12 Fourth Degree Pro Deo and Pro Patria (Canada) Scholarships annually.
An applicant must be:
A Canadian student entering his or her first year of university study leading to a baccalaureate degree at a college or university in Canada.
A member in good standing in a Canadian council of the Knights of Columbus, or the son or daughter of such a member or deceased member. (Not limited to Fourth Degree members.)
Each scholarship of $1,500 is awarded on the basis of academic excellence and is renewable each year of undergraduate study, pending satisfactory academic performance, to a total of four years.

Grand Knight Brian Hoven awards bursaries to qualified students following Mass at Star of the Sea, January 7, 2017
The Knights of Columbus Council #7015 are pleased to award a number of bursaries annually to PARTICIPATING members of the Star of the Sea Parish.
The bursaries will be awared to students who meet the following requirements:
1. Practicing the Catholic Faith, of good moral and personal character.
2. A participating parishioner of the Star fo the Sea Parish.
3. Attending a recognized Post Secondary education institution.
4. Grade XI and XII marks submitted with application
